5-6-7-8...Showtime!!

This past weekend a group of our dancers attended the 5678 Showtime convention and competition.
Aside from all being exhausted from such an exciting and physically tiring weekend we have a lot of fabulous news to report!

Fabulous results:

Christabel was selected to audition with Cirque du Soleil by one of the adjudicators!!!

Modern large group, Flamenco group. 2 trios 4 duos and 6 solos were selected to compete in Dance World Cup in Montreal in July.

Juliet and Christabel won 1st place and won the title "Duos of the Year" and awarded $500. They also received $500 scholarship each to join the Paris Dance Tour in August.

Top 10 "Dancer of the Year", 18 yr old girl from Toronto placed 1st place another !8yr old placed second, Juliet placed 3rd and Christabel placed 4th and was shy by .01%

The Judges were very impressed with our dancers technique in various dance forms at this young age!!

So, the IDM team is currently working on the new site! We should have it up and running by late August, or early September... Just in time for classes to begin! Which brings us to the topic; aren't you just so excited for the new year? New teachers, new students, just a nice fresh start. We can't wait to see everyone, and we hope that you're excited to be "home" again.
